MICROSOFT OUTLOOK WEB LEADS TO IPHONE AND IPAD APP

FILED MICROSOFT OUTLOOK WEB APP (OWA) FOR IOS, NATIVE APPLICATION COLLECTING AND AMPLIFY APPLICATION IN THE BROWSER TO WORKERS OF COMPANIES HAVE NO DEVICES USED IN SUPPORTING THE ENTIRE OUTLOOK.

The new application, which comes with iPhone and iPad flavors, offers the same functionality of the browser-based OWA, which allows users to access email, calendar, contacts and other data stored on the company's Exchange server.

But are native applications on iOS, can take advantage of hardware features such as support adding gestures and voice control. The native application approach means that you can use offline, not the browser-based OWA, which requires an internet connection. The work done and the result is excellent, according to several analysts, but also has its limitations.

As I did last month with Office Mobile for iPhone, Microsoft uses the OWA iOS carrot to entice customers to sign up for Office 365.

Only customers with active accounts to Office 365 OWA may be used on the iPhone or iPad, but the app itself is available for free in the Apple App Store. Also, although it seems that only temporarily, is the requirement of Exchange Online, so that companies that use their own Exchange servers are, for now, out of this service.

"We are planning to offer customers OWA Exchange 2013 servers themselves at a future date, but we have no details to offer today," said a spokeswoman for Microsoft. Analysts see this limitation as a grave error, as customers who have adopted Office 2013 in the form of perpetual license are excluded from the use of this new application.
